PC mining profitability assessment

Who it is for

Home operators and small racks deciding whether a GPU (or a short list of cards) earns enough after power, pool fees, and realistic uptime. Ideal before purchasing used hardware, expanding a desk setup, or shutting a box down.

What you receive

• Daily and monthly net outlook in HKD against your stated tariff
• Sensitivity notes for difficulty drift and coin-price swings (ranges, not predictions)
• Clear call on whether the box is above, near, or below break-even under your assumptions

What is included

We review your GPU or CPU model list, intended algorithm, expected or measured hashrate, PSU capacity, measured or rated wall draw, and your electricity band (CLP or HKE). Pool fee percentage and typical stale-share risk for Hong Kong latency are folded into the model. Cooling and noise constraints for a typical flat are discussed when relevant.

What is excluded

We do not execute trades, custody coins, sell hardware, or operate pools. We do not guarantee future earnings. On-site cable work or physical repairs are outside this session (see hardware review if you need configuration advice only).

Process

1. You send a hardware summary and tariff note via Contact.
2. We confirm the session time and any missing inputs.
3. Live review (video or at One Exchange Square by appointment): we walk the model together.
4. Within one business day you receive the written estimate PDF summary by email.

Preparation

Have board names, memory configs if known, a wall-meter reading if available, and your latest electricity rate (cents per kWh or your band). If you already run the box, two weeks of pool dashboard screenshots help.

Constraints

Estimates reflect network conditions and reward schedules at the time of the session. Markets and difficulty move; the document states its assumptions explicitly so you can revisit them later.
