Notes from operators who booked profitability assessments and hardware reviews.

“They caught that my wall meter was reading higher than the PSU sticker. Once we used the real draw, the ‘profitable’ dual-GPU plan dropped below break-even at my Kwun Tong rate.”
Marcus L., dual RTX desk, Kowloon · Profitability assessment

“I wanted a second opinion before ordering used cards from a forum. The write-up was careful about difficulty drift; I still bought one card, not three. Turnaround on the PDF was a day later than hoped after Chinese New Year, but the content was worth the wait.”
Aisha R., first-time home miner, Mid-Levels · Profitability assessment

“Hashrate verification showed my undervolt had drifted after a driver update. Power went up twelve watts for almost no MH/s. Small fix, clearer bill.”
Ken W., single-card evening miner, Tsuen Wan · Hashrate & power verification

“Hardware review talked me out of a bargain PSU that sat under continuous load. Dry advice — which I needed.”
Priya S., upgrade planning, Sai Ying Pun · Hardware configuration review

Extended note — the quiet rack that stayed quiet

A Sheung Wan client brought three candidate cards and a shared-flat constraint: noise after 11 p.m. and a meter that already carried air-con. In the profitability assessment we modelled each card at 70% evening uptime (their realistic window) rather than 24/7 forum defaults. Only one configuration stayed slightly positive after pool fees; the other two looked fine on a 24-hour spreadsheet and failed once night limits applied. They bought the quieter card, skipped the “deal” pair, and asked us to re-check after thirty days of pool data — the verification session confirmed wattage within 4% of estimate.
