Refund policy

Scope

This policy covers paid consultation sessions with AutomatedOrch Digital: PC mining profitability assessments, hardware configuration reviews, and hashrate & power verification. It does not cover hardware, electricity, or third-party pool fees — we do not sell those.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid directly to us for a session. Informational prices on the website are not charges until agreed in writing.

Timeframe

• Cancel 48 hours or more before the scheduled start: full refund of fees paid for that session, or free reschedule.
• Cancel between 48 and 12 hours before start: 50% refund; deposit may be retained.
• Cancel within 12 hours or no-show: no refund of the deposit; remaining balance not charged if unpaid.

After work has started

Once the live session begins or substantial preparation based on your materials has been completed (model draft underway), the session fee is non-refundable. If we cannot complete delivery due to our failure, you receive a full refund or a free replacement session at your choice.

Written summary revisions

One minor clarification pass within seven days of delivery is included. A full remodel after you change hardware mid-stream may be billed as a new short session; that fee is quoted before work.

Deposits

Deposits secure calendar time. They are refundable under the cancellation windows above. Non-refundable only when cancellation falls inside the no-refund window or after work has started.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice is free. Further reschedules may incur an administrative fee of HKD 150.

Materials you purchased

We do not sell physical goods. Any meters, risers, or cards you buy elsewhere are outside this policy.

How to request a refund

Email info@automatedorch.digital with your name, session date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 10–14 business days (bank timelines vary).

Exceptions

Force majeure (severe weather warnings that close Central offices, prolonged network outages on our side) entitles you to reschedule or a full refund of unused fees. Disagreement with an honest break-even conclusion is not grounds for a refund — estimates are analytical opinions, not earnings guarantees.
